No Centralized Administrative Backdoors
Because Encbyt is built on client-side encryption, your master password and private keys are never transmitted to our servers. Our technical team has zero access to your unencrypted data and cannot generate temporary access passwords.
Self-Sovereign Password Resets
Support representatives cannot reset your password. You must use your self-sovereign 24-word recovery phrase inside the recovery console to re-derive your encryption keys locally.
In-Session Phrase Regeneration
If you remember your master password and can access your vault, you can view or regenerate a fresh 24-word phrase at any time from your Account Settings console without contacting support.
Irreversible Loss Boundary
If you lose both your master password and your 24-word recovery phrase, your vault is mathematically sealed forever. No engineer, administrator, or court order can recover or decrypt your files. We sell security not an ordinary storage box—and security requires absolute personal custody over your cryptographic keys.
