Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Subscription Billing & Automatic Renewals

• Advance Recurring Schedule: All paid vault plans (Starter, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Enterprise+) are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual billing cycle via PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateways.
• Continuous Service Allocation: Provisioning dedicated encrypted storage clusters begins immediately upon confirmation of payment.
• Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the conclusion of each billing period using the payment method on file, unless cancelled before the renewal date.

2. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee (First-Time Paid Subscribers)

We believe in verifiable cryptographic security. If you subscribe to Encbyt and determine within the first week that our zero-knowledge platform does not align with your operational workflow:

• Eligibility Window: First-time paid subscribers can request a 100% full refund within seven (7) calendar days of the initial purchase date.
• Submission Process: Email your refund request from your registered account email to [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request - [Account Email]".
• Prompt Settlement: Approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method through our payment processors within 3 to 5 business days.

3. Subsequent Renewals & Non-Refundable Items

• Recurring Renewals: Because dedicated storage allocations and encrypted transit pipes are maintained continuously on your behalf, subsequent recurring monthly or annual renewal charges are non-refundable.
• Mid-Cycle Cancellations: We do not issue prorated refunds for cancellations initiated midway through an active monthly or annual billing period.
• Currency Conversions: Refunds are processed in the currency of the original transaction (INR or USD). Encbyt accepts no liability for foreign exchange fluctuations or international banking conversion surcharges.

4. Subscription Cancellation Procedure & 90-Day Dormant Holding

You maintain complete control to cancel recurring subscription billing at any time without penalty:

1. Log into your private Encbyt vault at encbyt.in.
2. Navigate to Account Settings → Billing & Plans.
3. Click "Cancel Subscription" and confirm your selection.

What Happens After Cancellation:

• Active Access: Your vault remains fully accessible with complete upload and download privileges until the end of your current paid billing period.
• Transition to 90-Day Standby Holding: At the conclusion of your paid cycle, the account transitions into an inactive state, and your encrypted data blocks are shifted into an isolated, dormant preservation tier for ninety (90) days.
• Reactivation Rights: During these 90 days, your data remains fully intact and encrypted. You may reactivate your vault at any time by selecting an active subscription tier.
• Permanent Hardware Purge: If an account is not reactivated within ninety (90) days, automated sanitization routines permanently and irreversibly wipe all associated encrypted data blocks to reclaim physical hardware.
